Action4Climate aims to empower European youth (ages 18-35) to lead and participate in climate action by enhancing their sustainability competencies and environmental literacy. The project’s key objectives include: transferring youth-learning tools for green initiatives and open science; providing sustainable, empowering resources demanded by young people; supporting education on climate-related skills; combating disinformation; and engaging natural leaders in promoting community-based green solutions.
Core activities include participatory workshops and training on GreenComp Open Educational Resources (OER) for youth upskilling, implementing Datatelling reporting methods to fight environmental disinformation, a Climathon event to boost youth visibility and alliances, and disseminating best practices to raise community awareness.
The project aspires to strengthen the collective voice of youth on the EU Green Deal 2050 for Climate Neutrality, promote sustainable development, and nurture collaboration through a dynamic digital space driven by key stakeholders and young leaders.
